Our client, a commercial real estate and facilities management firm located in Manhattan is looking for a Temporary to Permanent Workplace Experience Ambassador to join their team. This position will start August 31st and will operate on an in-office schedule between the hours of Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Compensation is $24/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact at reception, greeting visitors, clients, and employees while delivering an exceptional workplace experience
- Oversee daily building and office operations through workplace inspections and walkthroughs
- Coordinate meeting room setups, event preparation, catering requests, and AV/VC support
- Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, security, and vendor partners to ensure quality service delivery
- Manage meeting room reservations, setup, reset, inventory tracking, and space utilization reporting
- Support office moves, seating changes, and space planning initiatives
- Administer visitor management processes including security passes, host notifications, and access coordination
- Maintain inventory for office supplies, furniture, equipment, pantry items, and consumables
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, package deliveries, courier services, and administrative office support requests
- * Support workplace safety initiatives, emergency procedures, and compliance protocols
- * Respond to workplace issues and escalate concerns appropriately
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities coordination, workplace services, reception, or similar front-of-house corporate office role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience working cross-functionally with vendors, IT teams, project teams, and business stakeholders
- Basic knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and workplace management systems such as ServiceNow or Corrigo
- Strong problem-solving abilities and independent decision-making skills
- Ability to lift 30-50 pounds and remain mobile throughout the workday
- Experience with health and safety compliance, risk assessments, and workplace safety protocols preferred
- Event coordination or hospitality experience preferred
- Experience with procurement systems and office supply management preferred
- Vendor management and service-level agreement experience preferred
