Our client, a prominent healthcare organization in Cranbury, NJ, is seeking a Research Support Specialist to serve as a critical liaison between business users and technical support teams. This individual will be responsible for triaging incidents, researching issues, assigning cases to the appropriate resolution groups, and ensuring timely resolution of business-impacting incidents.
About the Job:
- Triage and evaluate incoming incidents to determine appropriate assignment groups and resolution paths.
- Investigate escalated business incidents to ensure complete and accurate information is available and clearly define issue scope.
- Research issues across applicable systems and business processes to identify root causes and drive resolution.
- Determine next steps and coordinate with internal teams as needed to resolve incidents effectively.
- Maintain detailed work notes and customer communications within ServiceNow to provide visibility into incident status and progress.
- Analyze and refine data extracts, reports, and other consumable business information to support incident and problem analysis.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Understanding of business processes, workflows, associated systems, and operational environments.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to achieving business objectives.
- Ability to work independently while managing assigned incidents under the guidance of leadership.
This role is ideal for a candidate who is analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of navigating complex business processes while maintaining exceptional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
