Our client, a professional membership organization is seeking a HR Employee Engagement Lead to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Alexandria, Virginia.
About The Job:
- Serve as a strategic partner to employees and leaders on talent, employee experience, performance, and employee relations
- Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, workplace concerns, conflict resolution, performance issues, and policy guidance
- Lead talent management, succession planning, performance management, employee engagement, and leadership development initiatives
- Support organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, change management, and professional development
- Analyze employee feedback and workforce data to provide insights and recommendations
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, organizational policies, and HR best practices
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field required; Master’s preferred
- 7+ years of progressive experience in talent management, employee experience, organizational development, employee relations, or HR
- Strong experience with employee relations, investigations, talent management, leadership development, and employee engagement
- Experience advising and influencing leaders across multiple organizational levels
- Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, performance management, and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, coaching, conflict resolution, and analytical skills
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP required within one year of employment
- Ability to effectively leverage AI tools to improve workflows and productivity
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- Duration: 6-month Temp-to-Perm
- $51-$60/hr
- Permanent Salary: $110K-$125K + potential bonus
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite
- Flexible schedule: 8:00/9:00 AM – 5:00/6:00 PM
