Location: Hybrid Bay Area
A well-established organization is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its growing finance team. This role will oversee key accounting functions, support process improvements, and provide leadership within a complex operating environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations
- Lead and mentor a small team
- Support month-end close and financial reporting activities
- Review reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Partner with leadership on special projects and system initiatives
- Assist with maintaining effective internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Experience working within a multi-entity or complex environment preferred
- ERP system experience required
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to operate independently and drive results
Preferred
- Experience improving accounting processes and workflows
- Background supporting high-volume transaction environments
- Experience with system implementations or upgrades
