Our client in the Dallas, TX area is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing AP team on temp-to-hire basis.
This position will be fully on-site in the Highland Park area of Dallas, TX.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide support to the AP group and route invoices from Outlook into Bill.com
- Ensure invoices are properly allocated to multiple locations for accurate payment processing
- Research aging items, determine whether items have been paid, and request invoices when needed
- Assist with cleanup of duplicate vendors in Bill.com
- Open mail, handle check statements, and scan documents into the system for AP
- Perform some filing, including invoices already approved by upper management
- Provide support for select vendor payments made through vendor portals
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Exposure to ERP systems including Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar
- Bill.com experience preferred
