Senior Manager, SEC Reporting
Our client is seeking a Senior Manager of SEC Reporting to support its growing accounting and finance team. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced public company environment, with responsibility for SEC reporting, technical accounting, equity accounting, audit support, and SOX compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and coordinate SEC filings, including 10-Qs, 10-Ks, 8-Ks, and related disclosures
- Support quarterly and annual financial reporting under U.S. GAAP
- Research and document technical accounting matters and complex transactions
- Lead accounting for stock-based compensation and other equity-related activity
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Coordinate with external auditors and support SOX/internal control requirements
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, HR, and other teams
Qualifications:
- Active CPA required
- Strong SEC reporting and technical accounting experience
- Experience preparing or supporting 10-Q and 10-K filings
- Public company accounting experience, preferably within a smaller or growth-stage organization
- Ability to work independently in a hands-on environment
- Biotech/life sciences and Sage Intacct experience are a plus
Position Details:
- Approximately 6-month consulting assignment with potential to convert
- Hybrid schedule, 2 days onsite in King of Prussia, PA
