Required Skills:
5+ years of experience as a QA Analyst
Strong experience testing backend systems, APIs, and service-based architectures.
Hands-on expertise with API testing, including validation of request/response data, integrations, and error handling.
Proficiency in SQL for data validation, troubleshooting, and backend data analysis.
Experience performing batch processing, log analysis, and end-to-end system validation.
Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-enabled testing tools and methodologies to improve test coverage, efficiency, and defect detection.
Familiarity with AI-driven software development and testing lifecycles, with the ability to adapt quality assurance practices to modern development environments.
Ability to develop and execute comprehensive test strategies across functional, integration, regression, and automated testing efforts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying root causes and ensuring software quality.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
Desired Skills:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Description of Role/Responsibilities/Project: Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a highly technical Sr QA Analyst to join our Fortune 200 client. The Senior QA Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications by designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies across backend systems and integrations. This individual will be responsible for API testing, SQL-based data validation, batch processing and log analysis, and end-to-end quality assurance efforts. The ideal candidate has experience leveraging AI-powered testing tools and methodologies and is excited to work within an evolving AI-driven software development lifecycle to improve efficiency, test coverage, and product quality.
