Guiding Our Client Through a Legal Platform Change
Challenge
Our client’s legal platform was raising concerns in their industry. In fact, one of our competitors contacted an intellectual property (IP) partner at a top-tier firm regarding our client’s legal platform. As a result, our client decided it was time to change their legal platform. Our client elected to work with us on the legal platform change based on their long-standing, successful partnership with Beacon Hill Legal.
Since our client’s practice is in a space that is subject to many conflicts, they needed to engage a firm in a different space with expertise to support the growth of their niche practice with flexibility in legal fees.
Solution
Beacon Hill Legal consulted with our client to understand the reasons for their platform change, including what was and was not working. We discussed several firms as options to support this platform change. After a rigorous evaluation, we ultimately selected three firms, which we confidentially contacted on our client’s behalf.
Achievements
In less than one week, two members of our client’s firm had face-to-face conversations with the managing partners of the three firms we recommended. In a short period of time, we hired an international firm that was excited to work with our client and a complimentary fit.
