Our client, fiscally conservative free market focused organization, is seeking a HR manager to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Washington, D.C.

About The Job:

  • Provide comprehensive HR generalist support across the organization, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, sourcing, interview coordination, and offer processes
  • Oversee employee onboarding, including documentation, orientation, and benefits enrollment
  • Administer employee benefits programs and respond to employee inquiries
  • Maintain and optimize HRIS (Paylocity) to support accurate HR operations and reporting
  • Support employee relations matters, including coaching, performance management, and policy guidance
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with leadership, internal teams, and external vendors to support HR operations and initiatives

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of HR generalist experience
  • Strong experience with recruiting, onboarding, and HR operations
  • Heavy HRIS experience required; Paylocity preferred
  • Knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and employee relations
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle sensitive information

About The Position:

  • Start Date: ASAP!
  • $38-$43/hr
  • Permanent Salary: $80K-$90K
  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
