HR Coordinator

Location: Fully Onsite
Schedule: Monday-Friday | Flexible start time between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM (8-hour workday)
Pay: $24-25/hour
Job Type: Temp to Hire

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable HR Coordinator to support a busy Human Resources team in a fast-paced corporate environment. This position focuses heavily on onboarding support, coordination, and candidate communication. The ideal candidate thrives in a structured environment, enjoys working with people, and has a strong ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires
  • Monitor and track background checks
  • Schedule and follow up on drug tests and occupational medical exams
  • Process employment-related documentation and authorizations
  • Communicate with candidates regarding onboarding requirements and next steps
  • Maintain accurate records and enter detailed notes into internal systems
  • Partner with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to provide timely updates
  • Assist with additional HR administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of HR, onboarding, recruiting coordination, or related administrative experience preferred
  • Experience handling background checks, drug screens, onboarding, or employee documentation strongly preferred
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft, Workday, Taleo, or similar platforms is a plus
