Our client, a commercial real estate services and investment management company located in Hudson Yards, Manhattan is looking for a TTP Assistant General Manager (Property Manager) to join their team. This position will start August 2026 and will operate on an in-office schedule between the hours of 8:30am – 5pm. Compensation is up to $32/hr. Temp duration is approximately three months with potential to extend/convert.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with tenant communications and service requests, ensuring prompt response times and effective resolution of issues
- Support financial management activities including invoice processing, budget tracking, and preparation of monthly operating reports
- Coordinate maintenance work orders with engineering teams and external contractors to maintain high property standards
- Conduct regular property walks and inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Assist with lease administration tasks including document preparation, tenant move-in coordination, and file management
- Help facilitate tenant events and building communications to enhance community engagement and satisfaction
- Oversee property operations in the absence of the Property Manager or General Manager
- Work closely with tenants, vendors, and engineering teams
- Draft and prepare financial reports
- Perform any additional tasks required under Property Management Agreements, local ordinances, or property operational needs
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of commercial property management experience with demonstrated success in tenant relations
- 2+ years of property management accounting experience
- Experience with budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting
- Experience performing OPEX/RETAX estimates and true-ups
- Experience with quarterly sales tax filings
- Experience preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements
- Experience preparing annual operating budgets
- Yardi Voyager experience required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving abilities and professional judgment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Real Estate License required within 6 months of hire
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Real Estate, Communications, or related field preferred
