Market Intelligence for LPCs and LMHCs
Challenge
Our partner, a behavioral health organization based in Los Angeles, needed five licensed professional counselors (LPCs) / licensed mental health counselors (LMHCs) for a project working with the local unhoused population. Due to the limited candidate pool and undesirable setting, they found it was difficult to find candidates to meet their needs.
Solution
Beacon Hill Health & Clinical Resources updated our partner with market intelligence that analyzed the climate for these roles. Based on our findings, we recommended that our client use our current licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs) instead, as they were better equipped to understand the area's unhoused population.
Achievements
Our partner accepted our recommendation, and they agreed this license was optimal for the success of the project.
