VMS Conversion to Workday VNDLY
Challenge
After implementing the VMS of choice for the client's first-generation program, OneBeacon was experiencing significant challenges with the platform, namely around the technical functionality and lack of support from the VMS’ internal technical team. Tech support’s lengthy response time and the platform’s limited reporting capabilities hindered operational efficiency. Additionally, the client's managers were increasingly dissatisfied with the ease of use and functionality of the chosen VMS, leading to growing frustration as the VMS struggled to meet their reporting and workforce tracking needs.
Solution
In response to the client's mounting frustrations, OneBeacon’s implementation experts thoroughly evaluated the available VMS options and identified a superior system: Workday VNDLY. After consulting with the client, OneBeacon decided to transition to Workday VNDLY, making the client the second account to implement this solution. The switch was expedited due to the existing workforce data supplied from the client to OneBeacon, facilitating a smoother integration process. This also created efficiencies during the second phase of the implementation which involved integration with the client's existing Workday platform. During this phase of implementation, the built-in functionality of Workday VNDLY allowed for OneBeacon’s teams to seamlessly integrate the client's worker tracking module, Workato, into the system within 4 weeks. This allowed for additional efficiencies for automating workflows and ticket management.
