Dedicated Resource Program Supports Transformation of Accounts Receivable Operations
Challenge
Our client, a prominent educational service provider and omnichannel retailer catering to students, faculty, staff, parents, and fans, sought to streamline its accounts receivable (A/R) processes by consolidating responsibilities within its corporate team. Previously, A/R duties were decentralized and managed individually at various school locations, prompting the vice president (VP) and controller, along with her supporting managers, to seek assistance in cleaning up past-due accounts and assembling a proficient project team for the challenge.
Solution
The VP and controller approached Beacon Hill Financial for support, outlining the need for four individuals to spearhead a three-to-four-month project. We proposed our dedicated resource program, emphasizing its enticing incentives, including a bonus upon successfully completing the contract term. We also highlighted the strategic significance of retaining skilled resources for the required project duration to help centralize A/R functions and revamp the system to enhance efficiency.
Our recruiters collaborated to identify a pool of highly qualified candidates, including two senior A/R analysts and two senior A/R collections analysts. Leveraging a comprehensive approach, we worked with our client’s managers to expedite the interview process, gather feedback promptly, and facilitate swift decision-making to secure preferred candidates. Our coordinated efforts empowered all four dedicated resources to start simultaneously, fostering a seamless integration with our client’s team.
Achievements
With our dedicated resource placements, we helped our client’s A/R department (and the company as a whole) collect and generate more revenue. Our collaboration resulted in a successful consolidation of A/R responsibilities, with our dedicated resources making significant strides in cleaning up and collecting past-due accounts.
We have maintained communication with our client, and they’re very pleased with the talent we provided and how they’re performing for the company. All four senior A/R analysts have been hitting their metrics and reporting these metrics to their manager and upper management every week. The seamless integration of our high-level A/R professionals and our client’s satisfaction underscore the effectiveness of our dedicated resource program in meeting our client’s objectives.
Thank you for bringing such high-quality candidates to the table. Everyone I spoke to was professional, well informed, and very knowledgeable in the field. Deciding was not easy, and that's a testament to having so many great candidates to choose from. The expediency in which you assessed, addressed, and resolved our concerns was so appreciated.
