Laura Berger, Esq., is a Senior Managing Consultant at Beacon Hill Legal, where she oversees attorney placements and client services throughout the California and the West. Having lived in 13 states, and a San Diego transplant since 2014, Ms. Berger has developed a deep understanding of the California and West Coast legal markets. She and her team match attorneys (associates, partners, groups, and in-house counsel) to opportunities with leading law firms and companies, nationally.
Ms. Berger joined Beacon Hill in 2021, eager to establish and grow a direct hire attorney search team for Beacon Hill on the West Coast. With over ten years of attorney recruiting experience, she manages a top team of seasoned attorney recruiters.
Ms. Berger received her A.B. from Harvard University and her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. She practiced as a corporate associate focused on M&A with an AmLaw 50 firm in New York before moving in-house as corporate counsel. Thereafter she was recruited to recruit attorneys in 2016 by one of the largest publicly traded staffing companies in the world. Ms. Berger is an active member of the Harvard Club of San Diego, speaks at ACC events locally, and volunteers her time with several addiction and recovery organizations in San Diego as well as animal rescue organizations throughout SoCal. She also adopted one of said rescues, and Yogi “works” alongside her most days.
