Delivering Flexibility and Cost Savings by Placing Talent for a Network Operations Center
Challenge
Our client, an American seller of designer and name-brand shoes and fashion accessories, needed staff to run its network operations center. The network operations center roles were originally outsourced to a different provider. However, the provider was not supporting the company the way they wanted, including not providing any documentation and having prices beyond our client’s budget.
Solution
After being brought back in-house, Beacon Hill Technologies, known for our expertise in IT staffing and our ability to provide high-quality candidates, was selected to staff our client’s entire network operations center (NOC). We filled five long-term contract roles, including infrastructure specialists handling network monitoring, patching, and administration tasks.
These roles provided a pipeline of consultants who could be converted to internal full-time employees (FTEs) while providing operational support twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
Achievements
Most of our consultants were either converted to full-time employees with our client, promoted, or stayed on long-term. The group continually takes on more responsibilities from other IT departments, demonstrating their growth and development. As a result of this project’s success, we have been one of our client’s top IT recruiting partners for over seven years, a testament to the effectiveness and value of our staffing solutions.
