Providing Experts to Complete Managed Review from First Pass Review through Production
Challenge
Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, sought to take a set of documents from first-pass review through production in a very limited timeframe with very tight budget demands. The firm required contract attorneys and a project manager with privilege log experience to complete the work while having Beacon Hill Legal manage all aspects of review, including quality control and production of the documents.
Solution
To provide competitive pricing, Beacon Hill Legal staffed the review with contract attorneys experienced in privilege review and privilege logs at our review center in Detroit, Michigan. The team was divided into different sub-teams to focus on separate workflows, starting with the first pass responsiveness and privilege document review. This was followed by a privilege and privilege log workflow that coded, logged, and redacted documents. Our quality control process was implemented throughout the project, but a further pre-production check was executed to ensure the team’s accuracy.
Achievements
The responsive review, privilege, and log were successfully completed to meet the client’s production deadline with high accuracy.
