Managed Services Provide Project Management for the Implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning System
Challenge
Our client, a major, private American building supply and construction company, was experiencing major growth and worked with multiple staffing agencies. Based on our successful placements, Beacon Hill Technologies was chosen as one of two preferred staffing agencies to place resources nationwide and implement an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
Solution
We placed a senior program manager to oversee the ERP project and created the project management office (PMO). We aided in the ERP solution definition and rollout and built the necessary interfaces and integrations (including best practices, standard operating procedures, documentation, and training). Our resources included a senior program manager, ERP business analysts and developers, ETL developers, integration project managers, data conversion consultants, and project coordinators.
The Results
We’ve placed forty long-term resources with our client, who expressed continued satisfaction with our consultants. Further, the ERP project is on schedule, with implementation support for 800 client locations.
