Managed Services Model Supports Large-scale, Multi-site Windows 10 Migration

Challenge

This non-profit health system client wanted to retain a single-source managed services supplier to manage and deliver a new Windows platform impacting over 20,000 machines across 200 physical sites. Due to an expiring support contract, they were facing a tight deadline to complete the project, and they did not have sufficient facilities or professional resources to accommodate the upgrade. 

Solution

Beacon Hill Technologies developed the project plan, including budget, workflows, reporting, process creation, management, communication plans and protocols, facilities, logistics, and recycling services. We sourced, vetted, and screened sixty technical resources who we then phased into the project through a pre-defined ramp-up schedule. We procured the physical space required for migration, transportation services, delivery of 23,000 machines, and hardware recycling.

This project was delivered in our client’s timeframe and within the determined budget.
