Expanding Our Service Offerings by Stepping Up to Provide Niche Support for an Emergency Rental Assistance Program

Challenge

Our client, a non-profit organization providing housing intervention and assistance for residents in the Bronx, New York, was experiencing challenges rolling out their Emergency Rental Assistance Program. Our client needed case managers to support applicants who were interested in participating in this program.

After working with other vendors, our client recognized that other agencies couldn’t provide the specific case management or social services resources]that were crucial for the success of the Emergency Rental Assistance Program.

We were selected to support their needs for two primary reasons:

  • Our many years of healthcare staffing
  • Our local presence in New York

Solution

Our account team, comprising ten individuals, including two recruiters, successfully filled all the case manager roles. Each team member had a background in nonprofit work, exceptional customer service, and expertise in housing supportive services. Our recruiters ensured that every candidate was bilingual and had Spanish-speaking capabilities, as per our client’s request. Impressively, ninety-eight percent of the candidates we submitted for interview were hired, with some even securing roles after just one phone interview.

Achievements

Overall, the client was very pleased with our quality resources, and there were no issues or disruptions to their business. We placed thirty-five case managers, most of whom ultimately transitioned to permanent roles.

Due to our success, our client reached out to our sister specialty divisions, Beacon Hill Legal and Beacon Hill HR specialty divisions. Together, they have placed twelve consultants, including ten attorneys and two HR candidates. Our work and service to this client is ongoing, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with this client in the future.
