Managed Services Model Supports Migrating Data from Azure to Salesforce

Challenge

This healthcare management company struggled heavily with importing data from Azure into Salesforce, and they needed to find a cost-effective alternative to the expensive and unreliable tool they were currently using for data migration. They had a junior internal resource; however, this individual lacked the expertise and experience to address the challenges effectively.

Solution

The client’s key stakeholder contacted Beacon Hill looking for a systems architect for a  “bucket of hours” who would be a resource they could contact regarding questions. 

The same day, we met with our new client to understand their current state and technical requirements. After doing so, we identified an excellent consultant with relevant experience in Azure and Salesforce migrations who would serve as the solution architect to manage the entire project. 

Our client was so impressed with our consultant’s expertise that they agreed to meet with them immediately. Before the meeting, our consultant put together a detailed statement of work (SOW) to share with our client before the project was officially awarded. When the SOW was presented, our client appreciated and validated our consultant’s expertise and thorough approach, which further built confidence in the proposed plan.

Our consultant drafted, developed, and managed the entire project. This streamlined our clients’ Azure to Salesforce data migration process, making it quicker and more seamless and providing significant cost savings. 

This has led to a noticeable improvement in our client’s business operations. Overall, Beacon Hill’s solution improved the clients’ data import processes and reduced costs by transitioning away from their expensive tool.
