BH Technologies™ Case Study
Modernizing Claims Systems for a Fortune 500 Insurance Brokerage Firm
Challenge
A Fortune 500 insurance brokerage firm faced significant setbacks during a large-scale claims system modernization and migration initiative. Following multiple acquisitions, the company needed to integrate its customer relationship management (CRM) and digital platforms into Pega Cloud on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Additionally, they aimed to automate their front-end and back-end processes, to meet growing customer reporting demands. However, their offshore development partner struggled to maintain quality standards and meet critical deadlines, resulting in operational disruptions and financial strain.
Solution
Beacon Hill Technologies stepped in with a strategic, consulting-led approach to restore project momentum and ensure successful delivery. We engaged with the client’s key stakeholders and technical leads to comprehensively assess the current state, identify technical requirements and align on project deliverables. Our solution was designed to be agile, scalable and capable of transferring knowledge for future in-house support.
We provided SCADA security architecture services to address technical challenges, delivering expert guidance in Pega 8 platforms, including technical design, configuration rules, code reviews and robotic process automation (RPA). Our seasoned consultants worked alongside the client’s team to foster technical excellence and accelerate delivery.
Additionally, we implemented a collaborative delivery approach, embedding our experts within the client’s team to drive project success while enabling their internal teams to gain deep, hands-on experience.
We provided hands-on mentoring to Pega developers, certified systems architects (CSAs), business analysts and Agile project delivery managers, ensuring they were fully equipped to manage ongoing operations independently after our engagement. Our approach included centralized project reporting, proactive risk assessments and establishing best practices to drive continuous improvement and ensure long-term client self-sufficiency.
