Building an Organizational Structure and Standard Operating Procedures on a Direct Hire Basis
Challenge
Our client, a long-time Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company’s business unit, became a separate entity and was sold to a private equity firm. Upon separation, there was a high urgency to build a financial organization that could provide high-quality financial statements and develop new standard operating procedures (SOPs) and systems.
Solution
Beacon Hill Financial collaborated with our client’s chief financial officer (CFO) to determine the project’s scope. It helped build their new organizational structure, including designing organization charts and writing most of the latest job descriptions.
Achievements
We successfully identified and recruited over ten direct hire professionals for the accounting and finance departments. In two months, we helped the company set up a functioning department that met the firm’s reporting requirements. The process included hosting our client at our offices for interviews, consistently meeting with key decision-makers, and building a relationship that remains in place today.
