Managed Services Solution Enacted to Support a Critical Hardware Refresh Across 700 Locations​

Challenge

A well-known retail organization was seeking to build a twelve-person team of desktop technicians to lead a nine-month new hardware deployment project to over 700 physical locations across the US, as well as act as a technical support helpdesk for the onsite technicians installing the hardware. They were seeking a partner who could help simplify the hiring process from fourteen days to less than five business days, as well as manage and maintain those resources and staffing levels.   In the past, this client typically tried to source talent using multiple vendors and handled all interviewing and hiring themselves.​

Solution

Based on our past performance, Beacon Hill Technologies was selected as the exclusive partner, providing most of their onsite information technology (IT) contractors. Within five business days, we handled the entire process, including sourcing and recruiting candidates, conducting our reverse interview process, completing assessments and reference checks, and managing the custom onboarding process, including training and orientation. We worked outside normal business hours to meet the deadline and provided onsite onboarding support.​

Achievements

Having Beacon Hill Technologies manage the project team saved the hiring managers from reviewing resumes and conducting interviews. In fact, we reduced the average time-to-hire qualified candidates from over fourteen days to five days! The project was completed on time and under budget, and we were brought on to staff the second phase of this project for an additional six months.​
